Dogs, Cats, Fish & a Fallen Motorcycle

Dogs, Cats, Fish & a Fallen Motorcycle

I like to travel to places where nature and human meet in a pure and unregulated way. Places where I sense an elementary power of nature over man. A natural rawness. And although nature in the cities is not fighting, it will always survive. Man on the other hand is fighting by capturing nature. By creating, building, destroying. It seems an absurd struggle. Which becomes increasingly clear as the climate changes. In this series 'Dogs, Cats, Fish & a Fallen Motorcycle', I focus on the rol that water plays in urban areas in Thailand, which actually is a big delta area (Gulf of Thailand). It seems that man doesn't notice the current threat from the water due to rising sea levels and the sinking of the land (Bangkok for example sinks almost 1 meter per 10 year!).
